Comparison

Meddle vs Synthflow

Synthflow publishes a US$30,000 annual contract minimum and sells through its team. Meddle takes a card. Which one suits you comes down to how many people have to sign before anything happens.

Synthflow's figures come from synthflow.ai and its pricing page, checked on 12 August 2026. Their contract minimum is in US dollars and our rate is in Australian dollars, and both vendors can change any of this.

How you buy

Who has to agree before anything happens

Synthflow

Built for a procurement process

A contract minimum, a security review, a scoping call and an engineer assigned to your launch. That is the correct shape when an agent has to land inside an existing contact centre and several teams have to sign off.

Meddle

Built for the person doing the work

The operator who answers the phones can build the agent that replaces the queue, without a purchase order. If it turns out not to suit you, you stop paying for the minutes and release the number.

Either way

Prove it before it answers

Write the calls you dread as scenarios and grade the runs with a judge. Whichever platform you choose, do not let the first honest test of a voice agent be a real customer.

Where we lose

When Synthflow is the better buy

Pick Synthflow if a certificate is a hard gate in your procurement, because we do not hold one and say so. It is also the better answer when your systems are the big common ones and you would rather buy the integration than build it, or when you are a contact centre reselling under your own brand, or when you want a named engineer accountable for the launch. Those are real things to want and a US$30,000 contract is what they cost.
Meddle is the better buy when the person who understands the calls is the person who should be building the agent, when a five-figure annual commitment is not proportionate to the problem, and when your callers are Australian and you want the call processed here without reaching an enterprise tier to get it.

Questions

What buyers ask before committing

What does Synthflow actually cost?
Its pricing page states that enterprise contracts start at US$30,000 annually, with the final figure set by call volume, concurrency, telephony, integrations, security requirements and launch support. There is no published per-minute rate and no self-serve tier on that page. Meddle publishes A$0.25 a minute for the default Fast model with a standard Cartesia voice, A$0.40 with a premium ElevenLabs voice, no plan fee, and a phone number rental shown before you buy. Checked 12 August 2026.
Are you certified to the standards Synthflow lists?
No, and we would rather say it here than let you find out during procurement. Synthflow's site displays SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA and GDPR badges. Meddle has the SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria controls implemented and mapped, including access review, change management, incident response, vendor review, audit logging and encryption, but the independent audit has not been completed, so we are not certified. ISO 27001 follows the same cadence and HIPAA is out of scope today. If a certificate is a hard requirement in your procurement process, that is a real reason to choose someone who holds one. Our full position, including what we do hold, is on the security page.
How long until an agent is answering calls?
Synthflow describes launching agents in weeks rather than months, with forward-deployed engineers and a deployment framework, which is the right shape when the work involves an existing contact centre, a routing estate and a compliance review. On Meddle you sign up, describe the job, point the agent at your prices and policies, run the calls you dread as scenarios, then buy a number and route it. Nobody schedules you a call first. Which of those is better depends on how much of your organisation has to agree.
What about integrations?
Synthflow advertises more than two hundred prebuilt integrations to CRMs, contact-centre platforms and tools like HubSpot, Salesforce and Zapier. Meddle takes a different route: any HTTP API becomes a tool the agent can call mid-conversation, with your own variables and secrets substituted into the request, alongside connected apps and MCP servers. If your systems are the common ones and you want them wired for you, a prebuilt catalogue is worth paying for. If your systems are yours, a catalogue rarely contains them.
Can I white-label Meddle for my clients?
Not as a product feature, and Synthflow does sell white-labelled agents. What Meddle does support is running many agents in one workspace with per-agent collaborators, so an agency can build and operate agents for several clients under its own account. If reselling the platform under your own brand is the business model, ask us rather than assuming, because we would have to set that up with you.

Find out this afternoon.

You can have an agent built, tested against your worst calls and answering a real number before a scoping call would have been scheduled.
